CLASSROOM TESTING: STANDARDS AND BEST PRACTICES

The Liberated Learning Consortium functions as a living lab for researching and developing applications of speech recognition. Ongoing classroom testing is vital to achieving overall objectives and creating and sustaining a set of best practices or standards that guide implementation and classroom usage. Liberated Learning classrooms adhere to best practices in accuracy and error rate measurement to maintain benchmarks of 85% accuracy over a one hour continuous lecture period. Post-lecture editing practice is constantly under review to achieve the highest editing standards.

Liberated Learning courses, currently or previously offered at these partner universities, are a sample of the many areas of learning that have used speech recognition technology to advantage. Visit the Consortium page for more information on partners.
